Pharmacy Technician Call Center Representative
Rx Savings Solutions, part of McKesson’s Cover My Meds business segment, delivers an innovative, patented software solution that helps consumers make informed healthcare decisions at the lowest possible cost. In this full‑time position based in Overland Park, Kansas, you will use your pharmacy and customer service expertise to help members understand prescription options, reduce out‑of‑pocket costs, and navigate the pharmacy landscape.
WorkSchedule & Location
Primary shift:
Monday–Friday, 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Training period (first ~60 days):
Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Training location:
On‑site at corporate headquarters (435 & Nall, Overland Park, KS).
Post‑training:
Hybrid work arrangement with some work‑from‑home flexibility.
- Answer inbound calls from members and customers regarding prescription cost‑saving opportunities.
- Educate members on how to identify and realize savings using Rx Savings Solutions tools and services.
- Assist with pharmacy claims questions, prescription transfers, and general pharmacy navigation.
- Make outbound calls to members who request support through the online portal or auto‑dialer.
- Coordinate internally to resolve member issues accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct basic research related to pharmacy pricing and medication options.
- Clearly explain the benefits and value of Rx Savings Solutions services.
- Deliver exceptional customer service in every interaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.
- Experience in retail pharmacy, healthcare customer service, and/or healthcare call center environments.
- Ability to communicate professionally and empathetically with members and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to multi‑task, problem‑solve, and manage deadlines.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information in a regulated environment.
- Comfort navigating computer systems and multiple applications.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel (or willingness to learn).
- PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.

Base pay range: $18.23 – $30.38 per hour. Compensation also may include an annual bonus or long‑term incentive opportunities, as part of McKesson’s Total Rewards.
