As the Pharmacy Billing Specialist, you take ownership of the entire pharmacy billing cycle, using your discretion and independent judgment to ensure accuracy and efficiency. You bring solid organizational skills and handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:- Manage end to end billing operations, including invoicing, payment posting, collections, audits, and delinquent account follow up
- Respond to billing inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and provide financial counseling while maintaining positive customer relationships
- Process and post invoices, pharmacy charges (HCS), receipts, and agency billing documents accurately and on time
- Maintain complete documentation and generate daily, monthly, and end of month reports for leadership and accounting
- Ensure compliance with billing regulations, confidentiality standards, and policies; cross train for Pharmacy Office Manager duties and support phone coverage

Required Qualifications:- 6+ months of relevant experience
- Knowledge of third-party payers, billing requirements, and reimbursement methods
Qualification:
- Post-secondary education, especially in accounting or information systems

The hourly pay for this role will range from $14.00 to $25.20 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
