Physical Therapy Assistant

Overview

Sentara Outpatient Rehab Therapy Center Manassas is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). This is a Full Time Day shift opportunity with great benefits.

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will:

• Administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under supervision of a physical therapist.
• Assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.
• Provide age‑appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
• Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

• Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Certification, American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
