We're hiring a Occupational Therapist to join our team in Mesa, AZ (85209). Responsibilities- Create individualized treatment plans based on client assessment
- Make recommendations for advancement based on home/job evaluations
- Ensure clients are properly trained on safely using home and work equipment
- Provide guidance to any outside client caregivers on ways they can assist
- Assist clients with ways to properly and safely carry out day-to-day activities
- Evaluate patient's abilities and develop a treatment plan
- Customized treatment programs to improve patient's functional abilities
- Comprehensive home and job site evaluations with improvement recommendations
- Educate patients on how to properly use home and work equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Guide and discuss with individuals working or living with patients on how they can help
- Help patients better perform activities of daily living
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
- Current Arizona state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date)
- Current or Pending CPR/BLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills across a range of patient needs
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to adapt treatment plans to individual patient goals and functional outcomes
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
