Role Description

We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team as a patient advocate. This is a hybrid contract role based in McKinney, TX, with opportunities for remote work. Responsibilities include assisting patients in navigating healthcare systems, coordinating care plans, communicating with healthcare providers, promoting patient education, and ensuring clients have the necessary support to make informed decisions about their health and treatment options.

You will serve as a liaison between patients and medical professionals and work to address barriers to care.

Qualifications
  • Current LVN license in good standing in the state of Texas
  • Strong patient advocacy skills, care coordination, and knowledge of healthcare systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage time effectively and work independently
  • Experience in patient education and understanding of medical terminology
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records and relevant office software
  • Prior experience with legal representatives or healthcare insurance coordination is a plus
  • Passion for helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes in their healthcare journeys
