Medical Billing Specialist

Vision First has an opening for a Billing Specialist. If you are looking to continue your billing career in a growing employee-owned company.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Submitting medical and vision claims
• Working insurance receivable accounts
• Investigating and problem-solving billing issues
• Posting insurance payments
• Answering billing-related inquiries

A successful candidate will have the following qualities:

• At least one year of billing experience required
• Strong customer service skills
• Advanced computer skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
• Must be able to manage your time while meeting goals and assigned metrics
• Ability to work in a hybrid role that includes several days of remote work and at least one day working in the office
