We're looking for a caring, dependable
Personal Care Specialist (CNA) who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-focused care in a home-based hospice setting.

  • Location: Wooster, OH
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.

    - 4:30 p.m.
  • Holiday and weekend rotation required
  • Local travel required throughout the Wooster service area
What You'll Do

As a Personal Care Specialist, you'll play an important role in helping patients remain comfortable while supporting their families with compassionate care. Working alongside an experienced hospice team, you will:

  • Assist patients with daily personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
  • Observe and report changes in patient condition
  • Accurately document care provided
  • Encourage patient comfort, safety, and dignity
  • Communicate with nurses and other members of the care team
  • Build trusting relationships with patients and their loved ones
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ohio STNA/CNA certification preferred
  • One year of healthcare or patient care experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills for electronic documentation
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
  • Reliable transportation and state-required auto insurance
  • Ability to travel locally and work in a variety of weather conditions
  • Hospice certification (CHPNA) is encouraged within two years of employment
