What You'll Do
  • Implement individualized treatment and exercise programs that support each student's motor and mobility goals
  • Deliver treatment plans and exercise programs based on Physical Therapy assessments and IEP goals
  • Perform assessments and contribute to IEP planning meetings
  • Complete student reevaluations to support student IEP development
  • Train staff on adaptive equipment use and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent, high-quality care
  • Support classroom and residential accommodations

What You'll Need
  • Master's degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education)
  • State licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Three years of pediatric experience preferred (experience with autism or developmental disabilities a plus)
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and observation skills
