Advanced Imaging Technologist; Non-Patient-Facing
Advanced 3D Imaging / Post-Processing Technologist
Relocation Assistance, Great Benefits with Retirement match, internal growth paths, advanced case mix
We are seeking an experienced 3D Imaging / Post-Processing Technologist for a specialized advanced-visualization position with a large regional health system.
This role supports a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center and teaching hospital by transforming CT, MRI, and interventional imaging data into advanced reconstructions used for diagnosis, procedural planning, and complex patient care.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology Technologist who has post-processing experience and wants to build a highly specialized imaging career with greater technical focus and less direct patient care.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out- Specialized focus on advanced 3D imaging and visualization
- Complex neuro, vascular, cardiac, and interventional cases
- Technical, workstation-based responsibilities
- Less lifting, positioning, and direct patient interaction than traditional modality roles
- Three 12-hour weekend shifts with four days off each week
- Work supporting a Level I Trauma Center and major teaching hospital
- Direct collaboration with radiologists, surgeons, and procedural teams
- Long-term advancement within a large, stable health system
- Excellent health, retirement, education, and time-off benefits
This position supports one of the region’s most advanced hospital environments, including high-acuity trauma, neurological, vascular, cardiac, and interventional care.
The technologist will produce detailed 3D reconstructions, MIPs, flow studies, and advanced visualization outputs for complex cases, including neuro and brain imaging. This work directly supports clinical interpretation and procedural planning.
The workflow is performed remotely within the health system but is not a work-from-home position
.
- Perform advanced post-processing of CT, MRI, and interventional imaging studies
- Create MIPs, flow studies, and detailed 3D reconstructions
- Develop advanced neuro, brain, and vascular imaging models
- Support interventional and procedural-planning workflows
- Review imaging datasets for quality and completeness
- Ensure accuracy of diagnostic and procedural imaging outputs
- Collaborate with radiologists, surgeons, and clinical teams
- Maintain documentation and advanced-imaging workflow standards
- Utilize specialized visualization and post-processing software
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or imaging program
- Current ARRT certification
- Current BLS certification
- At least five years of advanced imaging experience
Candidates may come from CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology backgrounds
. A strong CT background is preferred because much of the post-processing is CT-based, but it is not the only background being considered.
Experience with vascular, neuro, brain, flow-analysis, or interventional imaging is highly valued, but not required.
Benefits Snapshot- Multiple medical plan options with prescription coverage, plus dental and vision plans
- PTO, sick leave, and a flexible paid floating holiday
