Regional Business Office Manager

As Regional Business Office Manager, your main task is to assist various facilities within their assigned geographic location in billing Medicare, Medi-Cal, Managed Care insurance, and other payer types.

We are looking for a professional candidate who has a desire to learn and grow with the company. Travel is required to all facilities in the assigned area. This is not a remote or work from home position.

• Will be responsible for billing, follow up, and appealing various claims to ensure payment is received.
• The candidate will also temporarily fill-in as a facility office manager during medical leave, etc.
• Must be willing to work at various facilities on a rotating basis as necessary.
• The candidate must be results-focused and detail-oriented.
• Must work well with residents and families as well as co-workers.
• Must be able to meet billing deadlines and follow a calendar to ensure that other deadlines are met.

College degree preferred with emphasis in accounting, financial or business-related.

• Ideally three (3) years of BOM experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), with a specific focus on collections and outstanding receivables
• Must have prior experience with hands on Medicaid and Medicare billing and collections.
• A well-rounded individual who has billing experience with multiple insurances - Medicare, Medi-Cal, Managed Care, HMO, Hospice, Private, etc.
• We follow the CMS & IDPH rules for the Covid-19 vaccine. You should be fully vaccinated or you will be required to submit an exemption. Details will be discussed during your interview.
• You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
• Prior supervisor experience in a skilled nursing facility setting is required.
• Point Click Care (PCC) billing system experience is preffered.
• The candidate must possess excellent communication skills and be able to problem solve.
