- Goldsboro is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Group Home Worker to provide essential support and care to our clients in Wilson, NC. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence, safety, and well-being while fostering a supportive and nurturing environment.

Shifts

• One to one 2:45 to 8:45
• Part-time 2:30 to 10:30
• Part-time 3:00 to 11:00

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and supervision to clients during personal care activities such as dressing, bathing, and toileting.
• Support clients during meals, encouraging the use of family-style dining practices to promote social interaction.
• Assist with housekeeping duties, including clothing care, general cleaning, and yard maintenance to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
• Help prepare meals and nutritional supplements according to clients’ dietary needs.
• Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely, ensuring adherence to all protocols.
• Implement prescribed diet plans and assist with the use of adaptive equipment as required.
• Follow established behavior support programs, maintain accurate data collection, and adhere to all safety procedures.
• Support clients in active treatment plans by assisting with training objectives, recording progress, and helping achieve service goals.
• Collaborate effectively as a member of the interdisciplinary team, communicating pertinent client information as directed by supervisory staff.
• Transport clients using company vehicles as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort during outings.
• Accompany clients on community outings, supporting their participation and engagement.
• Provide supervision and assistance to clients involved in school and day program activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support the team and enhance client care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid North Carolina driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
