Visionworks of America is seeking a part-time Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant to enhance patient experience by preparing patients for onsite and remote examinations, conducting pre-exam tests, and explaining each step of the process. You will liaise between patients and Optometrists and support the initial steps of the patient journey.
The role includes assisting with remote eye exams, documenting results in EMR, coordinating with retail staff, and preauthorizing insurance as per SOPs.
