Alcohol & Drug Counselor (ADC-T/LADC) – Adolescent Residential Treatment Pay: $27.00–$31.00 per hour

Wings Adolescent Recovery Services is seeking a compassionate and motivated Alcohol and Drug Counselor to join our multidisciplinary treatment team serving adolescents ages 13–18 with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.

Through a thoughtful division of responsibilities and a collaborative team approach, our counselors are able to focus on providing meaningful therapeutic services while receiving the support and resources they need to succeed.
Our multidisciplinary team includes licensed therapists, addiction counselors, nurses, social workers, case managers, residential staff, fitness and nutrition professionals, and other dedicated specialists—all working together to help adolescents and their families build healthier futures.
What You'll Do- Provide individual and group substance use counseling.
- Facilitate psycho educational groups and educational programming.
- Complete assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide case management and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
- Assist with crisis intervention when needed.
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Build therapeutic, professional relationships that support lasting recovery.
- Current ADC-T or LADC license, or the ability to obtain licensure within six months.
- Ability to successfully pass a Minnesota DHS background study.
- Passion for working with adolescents ages 13–18.
- Commitment to providing ethical, high-quality care.
- Experience working with adolescents.
- Experience treating co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.
- Additional clinical licensure (LICSW, LMFT, LPCC) is a plus.
- Enjoys working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
- Communicates effectively with youth, families, and outside providers.
- Builds strong therapeutic relationships while maintaining healthy professional boundaries.
- Is organized, dependable, and solutions-focused.
- Has a genuine passion for helping adolescents achieve lasting recovery.
