United Health Group’s Optum Coding Specialist role offers a telecommute-friendly opportunity focused on outpatient hospital professional coding. A CPC credential and extensive orthopedic/podiatry coding experience are required.
You will assign CPT and ICD-10 codes, monitor queues, and generate queries while staying current with Medicare guidelines. A High School Diploma or GED plus CPC certification are required;
Epic experience and denial management are preferred.
