Help Expand Access to Mental Healthcare Across MichiganBackpack Healthcare is growing in Michigan! We're looking for compassionate, dedicated therapists who want to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.
We provide high-quality virtual mental health services to children, adolescents, and young adults

You'll provide 15–22 telehealth sessions per week
, delivering individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults throughout Michigan
.
Most clinicians see clients during weekday afternoons and evenings (2:00–9:00 PM EST
), with weekend availability welcomed.
You create your schedule—we provide the referrals, administrative support, billing, and credentialing.
Your day-to-day includes:- Conducting comprehensive behavioral health assessments
- Developing individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans
- Providing evidence-based individual and family therapy via secure telehealth
- Collaborating with our interdisciplinary care team, including therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and care coordinators
- Completing timely, accurate clinical documentation within our electronic health record (EHR)
- Supporting families through education, collaboration, and coordinated care
We believe clinicians should have the opportunity to earn competitive compensation while maintaining the flexibility of part-time practice.
What You'll Earn:$60 per billable hour for independently licensed clinicians
Monthly bonus potential based on eligible clinical and performance metrics

What We're Looking ForWe're seeking clinicians who have:
An active Michigan independent license (LPC, LMSW, or LMFT)
Experience working with children, adolescents, and families—or a passion for serving this population
The ability to work independently in a virtual environment
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
A commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care
Bilingual (English/Spanish) clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply.
