About the Role

StarkMHAR is seeking a Suicide and Resiliency Services Coordinator to collaborate with county systems to address suicide and resiliency needs countywide and maintain our framework designed for prevention, intervention, and postvention through planned community response.

As Suicide and Resiliency Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of various grants, services, and programs of StarkMHAR related to suicide prevention, intervention and postvention and major community traumatic event response, and oversight of consultation and prevention programming within the youth continuum.

What You'll Do

Serve as StarkMHAR's lead coordinator for suicide prevention, intervention, postvention, and community trauma response efforts. In partnership with the Stark County Suicide Prevention Coalition, community stakeholders, and cross-system partners, you will implement grant-funded initiatives, support Zero Suicide efforts, monitor local suicide trends, coordinate response plans, and help advance evidence-based strategies that promote wellness, recovery, and resilience across Stark County.

You will provide oversight of youth consultation and prevention programs, collaborate with providers and community organizations to strengthen services, facilitate trainings and meetings, and represent StarkMHAR on committees and at community events. This role also leads behavioral health system postvention responses following suicides or major community traumatic events, requiring strong relationship-building, coordination, and leadership skills, as well as occasional availability outside of standard business hours.

What

You Bring
  • Master's degree in Human Services or a related field, with 2+ years of behavioral health program administration experience and a dependent clinical license required (independent licensure preferred).
  • Knowledge of behavioral health systems, ODBH regulations, and cross-system collaboration, with experience in system improvement, oversight, or project management preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and technology skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful system and service improvements.
Work Environment
  • Primarily office-based with occasional travel, meetings, trainings, and periodic evening or extended hours.
