Mental Health Therapist – Evening Outpatient – Salt Lake City, UT

Salary

$65,000–$75,000 annually (based on licensure and experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Mental Health Therapist to provide outpatient behavioral health services for adolescents and adults. This role focuses on delivering evidence-based therapy, supporting individuals with substance use and mental health challenges, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote long-term recovery and overall well-being.

The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts each week, with the opportunity to earn a work-from-home incentive through timely completion of documentation.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and complete clinical documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and timely client records.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other clinical team members to coordinate care.
  • Utilize trauma-informed care principles in all client interactions.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and ensure client confidentiality.
  • Participate in mandatory trainings, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
  • Support clients in achieving recovery, improved mental health, and overall wellness.
  • Comply with all organizational policies, state regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications

Current Utah licensure as one of the following:

  • CSWi
  • CSW
  • LCSW
  • ACMHC
  • CMHC
  • MFTi
  • AMFT
  • LMFT
  • Experience providing mental health therapy and behavioral health services preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
