Location: City of Rochester
The University of Rochester is seeking a Medical Coder III for remote work in New York. You will perform advanced coding across diverse medical records, assigning accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes in line with coding guidelines.
You will analyze, abstract data, review denials, and communicate coding issues to providers and departments. Requirements include a HS diploma and 2 years of coding experience; RHIA/RHIT or CPC/CMS credentials are preferred.
