This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Fredericksburg. You will enjoy a standard Monday to Friday schedule, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic while committing to 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and clinical best practices.
- Implement therapeutic interventions that align with evidence-based protocols, utilizing advanced techniques and modalities to facilitate healing and recovery.
- Monitor patient progress through regular assessments, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Provide high-quality therapeutic care that may extend to home-based services when required, ensuring adherence to the physician's plan of care.
- Offer guidance and education to patients and their caregivers, empowering them to take an active role in the rehabilitation process.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes and ensure seamless continuity of care across various specialties.
- Achieve minimum utilization goals and actively contribute to the overall success of our rehabilitation programs.
Our facility caters primarily to orthopedic patients, but we also manage a diverse array of cases, including pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. This variety provides a rich and dynamic working environment where you can enhance your clinical skills while impacting a broad demographic of individuals seeking recovery. Qualifications- A valid Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
- Current and valid State License to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.
- A minimum of two years of experience in the field, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is essential.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills that foster effective collaboration with team members and patients.
- Ability to utilize various software applications and electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating a genuine passion for engaging with patients and building professional relationships.
- Experience with evidence-based therapeutic practices and treatments beneficial for orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Familiarity with outpatient clinic operations and a comprehensive understanding of patient care pathways.
- Proven ability to manage a caseload effectively while maintaining high standards of patient care.
This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
