- Bachelor's degree in related field with two (2) or more years of relevant experience and/or equivalent experience/training.
- Community outreach and engagement experience.
- Project and research coordination and/or management experience.
- Experience in community engagement and education with a wide range of constituents.
- Experience facilitating education and training around bidirectionality.
- IRB preparation, submission, and maintenance.
- Demonstrated intercultural competency skills and experience working cross-culturally.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to review information, draw conclusions, develop, and evaluate alternatives/solutions.

- High proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to create PowerPoint presentations.
- Proficiency in Canva.
- Ability to make sound decisions and demonstrate a high degree of trustworthiness in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Experience and knowledge of clinical trials, including recruiting diverse community members.
- Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills necessary to collect data, analyze it, and develop substantive reports.
- Knowledge of program planning, development, and high level of expertise regarding evaluation methods.

The University of California, Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center (UCDCCC) is a Comprehensive Cancer Center designated by the National Cancer Institute, and an Organized Research Unit under the Office of Research. UCDCCC is a clinical and research enterprise consisting of 255 faculty members from the Davis, Sacramento, and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory campuses with research funding totaling $54M. The UCDCCC's Office of Community Outreach and Engagement (COE) catalyzes, conducts, and leads bidirectional outreach and engagement that addresses the cancer control, prevention and research needs of our 19-county catchment area (Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Merced, Nevada, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Solano, Sierra, Stanislaus, Sutter, Tehama, Placer, Yolo, and Yuba).
This position will lead efforts to build and sustain mutually beneficial partnerships between community stakeholders and UCDCCC, identifying and leveraging opportunities for collaboration across community organizations, research programs, healthcare systems, and educational institutions to advance shared goals.
