Description
A Clinical Research Coordinator 3 (CRC
3) demonstrates advanced skills and knowledge of a clinical research professional. In addition to the duties of the entry and intermediate level CRCs, the CRC 3 has the responsibility to support, guide, train, demonstrate or lead study team members in the implementation of study related activities. The CRC 3 applies critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills across a wide variety of clinical studies and contributes to the development of new processes, procedures, tools and training to enhance clinical research activities across the department.
The CRC 3 is proficient in clinical research tasks and is able to conduct quality assurance/quality control checks of the work of others. The senior level CRC 3 continues to build on their knowledge, skills, and abilities by making greater investments in their ongoing continuing education and professional development. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Science, Business Administration or health related field
- Minimum six (6) years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator/Associate independently managing a portfolio of clinical research studies and their participants.
- ALL team members required to receive training in Phlebotomy within 3 months of hire, if no prior Phlebotomy experience.
