Sentara Home Care Services is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Williamsburg, Virginia This is a Part-Time opportunity with great benefits.
As a COTA with Sentara, you will administer occupational therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of an Occupational therapist. Also, you may assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by an Occupational therapist. You will provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
Qualifications- An Associate's level degree, Certificate, Diploma, or degree from an accredited school is required.
- Current licensure in the state of Virginia or licensure eligible and current National Board Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (NBCOT) or certification eligible.
