This position is exclusively remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance tailored to your needs. You will primarily operate in an outpatient setting focused on providing therapy and support to your clients. With a modern approach to counseling, our facility utilizes the latest technology in electronically monitored records (EMR) to streamline workflow and improve client care. Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and assess clients through comprehensive therapeutic strategies, identifying their unique needs and developing personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short therapy to a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families.
- Maintain clear and accurate clinical records in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring that client confidentiality is upheld.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care, sharing insights and expert perspectives to enhance client outcomes.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions, staying updated with the latest developments in mental health research and therapies.
Our counselors work with a diverse client base that may include individuals from varying socioeconomic backgrounds, families experiencing distress, or couples navigating relationship challenges. Many of our clients face barriers to accessing mental health care, which enriches the variety of mental health issues addressed, from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance misuse.
Qualifications- Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
- A minimum of two years of counseling experience, particularly in clinical settings.
- A thorough understanding of legal and ethical standards governing professional counseling.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective rapport-building with a diverse clientele.
- Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use interventions.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with healthcare teams to improve the quality of care.
- Proficient with EMR software and technology to enhance client management and documentation practices.
