Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique experiences and develop personalized treatment plans focused on their individual needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the cultural contexts of clients.
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing a variety of mental health challenges while promoting resilience, coping skills, and overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate holistic and comprehensive care for our clients.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, showcasing adept problem-solving and crisis management skills.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment alternatives, community resources, and coping strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through attending case conferences and cultural competency training sessions to refine therapeutic practices.
  • Stay abreast of current research and best practices to ensure the application of the most effective treatment approaches in therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid and current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.
  • In-depth understanding of various mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic approaches.
  • Experience in delivering therapy in individual and group settings using culturally responsive methods that promote inclusivity.
  • Strong crisis intervention skills coupled with the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a capacity to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
