This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining regular business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. In your role as a Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms and determine the severity and impact of mood disorders.
• Designing individualized treatment plans in partnership with clients, ensuring that their needs and aspirations are central to care.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to each client's unique situation.
• Educating clients and their families on mood disorders, outlining treatment options, and recommending self-care strategies to enhance recovery.
• Tracking client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to provide holistic and integrated care.
• Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment outcomes, while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Participating in case consultations and staff meetings to discuss challenging cases and share insights on best practices.
• Advocating for clients by promoting awareness and de-stigmatization of mental health issues within the community.

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals experiencing a variety of mood disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will help these clients navigate the complexities of their conditions and collaborate with them to establish meaningful treatment goals that foster resilience and healing.

For consideration, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
• A strong foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.
• A robust knowledge of psychopharmacology with an ability to partner effectively with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals.
• Demonstrated experience and a successful track record in treating mood disorders, with measurable patient outcomes.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with a diverse clientele.

While not required, candidates with extensive experience in a clinical setting focusing on mood disorders, and those who have been actively involved in research or professional development related to mental health treatment, will be given preference. Familiarity with telehealth technologies and experience working remotely can also enhance your candidacy.
