As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Brightside Behavioral Health, you will:

• Deliver individualized therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence‑based interventions to individuals, couples, and families experiencing various mental health challenges.
• Utilize therapeutic methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution‑focused approaches to improve clinical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with local and federal regulations, ensuring confidentiality and ethical practice.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay updated with the latest research and techniques in mental health care.

Your caseload will encompass a diverse array of patients of varying backgrounds and needs, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse issues. By using various therapeutic approaches, you will help clients navigate their mental health challenges, facilitating healthier lifestyles and improved emotional resilience.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington.
• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or community health setting.
• Proficiency in offering therapeutic services to diverse populations, employing a variety of evidence‑based techniques.
