Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Brightside Behavioral Health, you will:

  • Deliver individualized therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence‑based interventions to individuals, couples, and families experiencing various mental health challenges.
  • Utilize therapeutic methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution‑focused approaches to improve clinical outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with local and federal regulations, ensuring confidentiality and ethical practice.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay updated with the latest research and techniques in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will encompass a diverse array of patients of varying backgrounds and needs, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse issues. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington.
  • A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or community health setting.

Preferred Experience
