Stanford Health Care is seeking an Inpatient Coding Specialist I to review medical record documentation, assign ICD-10-CM/PCS codes, and determine MS-DRG/APR-DRG while verifying discharge disposition and state reporting sources. You will abstract required data, support revenue cycle needs, collaborate with CDSs, and maintain accuracy and productivity using 3M encoder, 3M CDIS, and related tools.
A high school diploma or GED is required and at least three years of coding experience; RHIA/RHIT/CCS
