Our detox center operates with a strong interdisciplinary approach, integrating psychological care with medical and rehabilitative services. • Provide individualized therapy to adult clients within our outpatient pain clinic, focusing on unique psychological aspects of recovery from work-related injuries.
• Conduct weekly psycho educational group sessions designed to empower clients with skills and knowledge to manage their pain effectively and improve their quality of life.
• Deliver brief individual therapy to clients enrolled in the Functional Restoration Program (FRP), carefully evaluating their clinical progress and adjusting the treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and challenges, specifically related to pain management and mental health.
• Ensure clinical care adheres to the highest legal and ethical standards while being informed by the best practices in the field of pain psychology.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions using our electronic medical records (EMR) system to support continuity of care.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to refer clients to other supportive modalities within the clinic as necessary.

The primary focus of this role will involve working with a diverse caseload of individuals recovering from workplace injuries who commonly experience anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic pain issues. As an LCSW, you will play a key role in helping clients understand their emotional responses to physical injuries, providing them the tools to cope with both psychological and physical challenges effectively.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active California license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness-oriented interventions.
• Proficiency in assessing and treating patients with chronic pain conditions.
• Familiarity and sensitivity working with a population suffering from chronic pain and trauma; an integrated therapeutic approach is highly beneficial.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to establish trust and rapport with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and operate with utmost professionalism.

• Experience in group therapy settings, particularly in psycho educational classes.
• Prior work within a comprehensive care model that integrates mental and physical health services.
