When working from our outpatient office, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes social workers, psychologists, and case managers. Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized therapeutic strategies tailored to the unique needs of clients, including conducting in-depth evaluations and assessments.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to various client groups, such as individuals, couples, and families, focusing on developing coping strategies and improving emotional health.
- Employ a diverse array of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy, ensuring that methods are customized based on client needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training programs, keeping abreast of the latest advancements in mental health treatments and practices.
You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relational challenges. Our focus is on serving those who face barriers to accessing traditional mental health services, ensuring that every individual receives the care they need to lead fulfilling lives.
Qualifications- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
- A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is necessary, preferably within an outpatient or clinical setting.
- Strong foundation in legal and ethical standards related to counseling practices.
