Position Overview
PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our Behavioral Health Program. The role provides comprehensive behavioral health treatment for common conditions seen in primary care such as depression, anxiety, ADD and conduct disorders within an extended primary care collaborative model. The position is fully remote and open to full‑time and part‑time candidates. Full‑time salary is $125,000 per year;
part‑time positions are prorated and also benefit eligible. Must hold a New York state license.
- Perform psychosocial assessments that comply with evidence‑based practices
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy for patients using evidence‑based treatment modalities
- Participate in collaborative care team meetings
- Develop collaborative relationships and referral agreements with community mental health providers
- Monitor patient service quality and progress for referred patients
- Complete required documentation including biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner
- Work closely with patients, families and the team to overcome obstacles in treatment
- Ph.D. or Psy.
D. in Psychology from a program accredited by the American/Canadian Psychological Association (APA) - Licensed psychologist in the state(s) of practice (NY license)
- Minimum of 2+ years post‑licensure experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
- Ability to effectively interact, work, and develop meaningful relationships with people of various cultural backgrounds
- Demonstrated knowledge of trauma‑informed care
- Previous experience providing teletherapy to children and adolescents
- Previous experience with crisis intervention
Compensation depends on location and experience. Salaries or rates may vary within the range and above or below, depending on experience and location. The listed salary is a potential base salary/rate for this role.
