This role is a wonderful opportunity to really make a difference to people’s lives. You’ll deliver a telephone counselling service to Bupa clients in accordance with Bupa policies and procedures.

• Providing telephone counselling to a caseload of clients, short, medium, and longer‑term sessional work with a varied mix of client presenting problems, including oncology.
• Conducting mental health triage assessments.
• Assessing and managing risk to clients and others as required.
• Working in adherence to professional standards and compliance with regulatory framework.

• Recognised Counselling diploma qualification (Level4) or higher.
• BACP Accredited.
• Rich and varied experience of counselling different sectors of clients in society.
• Experience in working with complex cases is desirable.
• Previous experience providing telephone counselling over short, medium, or longer term (preferably).
• Flexible attitude to work the shifts required.
• Strong IT skills – experienced with MS Office packages (including MSTeams); this is a busy computer and phone‑based role.
