Remote Scribe - Ava Echo (Real-time Text Corrector)
- Contract
- $20/hr
Scribes work remotely, alongside AI-generated text, to correct captions for Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) users in real-time.
Echo is a pilot project focusing on correcting text for DHH users with Deaf Accents.
- Work 1–2 hour sessions, 5–15 hrs/week.
- Maintain accurate, timely caption corrections.
- Work from home 5–15 hrs/week, 1–2 hr sessions at a time, primarily 6 AM–6 PM PST.
- Always on‑time, communicative and reactive.
- Flexible and excited to contribute to a better world.
- Experience in transcription, translation, subtitling, proofreading, captioning.
- Willing to train ~4 hours to become a Scribe and start training now.
