Position begins part time while the clinician builds a caseload and typically grows to approximately 25+ weekly client sessions as referrals, scheduling availability, and onboarding participation allow.

Femme & Them is a queer- and trans-led practice where affirming therapy means more than words: it means practicing intersectional, trauma-informed care that addresses the realities of race, culture, gender, sexuality, and neurodiversity.

We’re building more than a practice - we’re building a movement toward sustainable, affirming mental health care. Our intention is to grow a team of therapists who see themselves not only as providers, but as long-term leadership members helping shape the future of affirming therapy in Washington State. While we can’t promise where every path will lead, our goal is to invest in your growth, create opportunities for leadership, and cultivate a community where both clients and clinicians can thrive together.

We are specifically looking for someone who is prepared to specialize in working with:

• Transgender and nonbinary teens and adults across the lifespan
• Neurodivergent clients who deserve to be understood, not 'fixed'
• Trauma survivors reclaiming their narratives
• Polyamorous, ethically non-monogamous, and kink communities
• Medicaid and commercial insurance clients who may otherwise struggle to find affirming care in-network

We welcome applicants of all identities who are committed to providing culturally responsive, evidence-based care. Experience or demonstrated training in affirmative care with these populations is required.

• Provide compassionate, client-centered therapy for individuals
• Conduct intakes and assessments that honor clients’ cultural contexts and family systems, not just a diagnosis
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors in a supportive environment

• Current Washington State Associate License (not pending)
• Strong interest in working with LGBTQ+ clients with an understanding of affirmative therapy
• Excitement for continuous learning, with growth across modalities (e.g., ACT, Somatic, Brain spotting, IFS)
• Availability to see 25+ clients per week
• Position is a full time W2 employee role

• Clinical (billable): $43/hour for associates (increase after 6 months)
• Administrative (non-billable): $22/hour
• All billing and credentialing with insurance, including Medicaid, handled for you
• Paid licensure supervision (LMHC, LICSW, PMH-C)
• Fully paid Brain spotting Phase 1 training (optional)
• Case-by-case reimbursement for optional trainings
• Tech stipend for internet/phone
• HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform (Sessions Health EHR)
• Flexible scheduling - set your own hours (including evenings/weekends if preferred)
• Health and dental benefits once full time status is reached
