Position Overview

Oasis Care Behavioral Health Center is seeking dedicated full-time Mental Health Counselors to join our dynamic team. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessments, implementing personalized treatment plans, and using evidence-based therapeutic interventions to foster recovery and resilience in individuals facing mental health challenges.

Environment

As a remote worker, you will benefit from a flexible work environment that allows you to manage your schedule while effectively meeting the needs of your clients. Although you will primarily work from home, our outpatient office facilities in Springfield serve as a base for collaborative meetings and team support. Our work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments using evidence-based practices and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
  • Utilize therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to address a wide range of mental health issues.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and upholding the highest standards of client confidentiality.
  • Engage in collaborative treatment efforts with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care.
  • Participate in regular case reviews and consultations to continuously improve care quality and client outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and available resources, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health practices through ongoing professional development and training.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Oasis Care Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse client population facing varying degrees of mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety disorders, and depressive conditions. Your expertise will guide clients through their recovery journeys, helping to restore hope and promote lasting change in their lives.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • An active state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with solution-focused psychotherapy techniques, allowing you to adapt your therapeutic approach to meet individual patient needs.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and building trusting relationships with clients.
  • Ability to critically analyze complex situations and devise effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
