Position

Summary

The Outpatient Therapist provides individual, family, and/or group therapy services to clients across a variety of presenting concerns. This role is responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, maintaining clinical documentation, and delivering evidence-based interventions that support client growth and wellness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and establish appropriate diagnoses
  • Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans
  • Provide high-quality outpatient therapy services
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plan updates
  • Utilize creative, evidence-based interventions to help clients achieve treatment goals
  • Collaborate with families, schools, medical providers, case managers, and other members of the treatment team as appropriate
  • Deliver exceptional client service and foster a welcoming therapeutic environment
  • Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, trainings, and team collaboration activities
  • Maintain a minimum caseload of 27 client sessions per week for full-time status
  • Perform other duties related to client care and clinical operations as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution
  • Active state licensure or license eligibility as an LPC-MHSP, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent behavioral health credential
  • Experience completing assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain appropriate professional boundaries
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience working with diverse populations and presenting concerns
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
  • Experience with Valant EHR is preferred
  • Fully licensed clinicians are preferred and should ideally be credentialed with major insurance panels
