Role DescriptionThe Mental Health Counselor will provide direct counseling services to individuals, couples, and families, using evidence-based approaches to address a range of emotional and behavioral concerns. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, developing and updating treatment plans, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and coordinating case management activities as needed. The counselor will collaborate with other professionals and community resources, monitor client progress, and adjust interventions to support treatment goals.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Bolivar, MO, with a mix of in-office sessions and some work-from-home flexibility for documentation, telehealth appointments, and collaboration tasks.
- Demonstrated expertise in Mental Health and Psychology, with the ability to apply clinical theories in a practical, client-centered manner.
- Skills in Treatment Planning and Case Management, including assessment, goal setting, and coordination of services and referrals.
- Experience in Relationship Counseling, supporting couples and families in improving communication, resolving conflict, and strengthening relationships.
- Relevant master's degree (e.g., Counseling, Social Work, Psychology) and appropriate state licensure or licensure eligibility in Missouri.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Comfort with hybrid work, including in-person sessions in Bolivar, MO and telehealth services when appropriate.
- Experience working with diverse populations and a commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed care.
- Active Missouri Professional License, LPC, LCSW, LMFT
