Marana Health is seeking a Recovery Coach
- Senior to join the Behavioral Health team at the Marana Main Health Center, located in the heart of Marana, AZ.

The Recovery Coach
- Senior provides guidance and leadership to Recovery Coaches and other members of the Behavioral Health team, and provides direct behavioral health services to clients and family members including case management, skills training, group counseling, group skills training, health promotion, crisis intervention, transportation, supportive employment services, counseling (with appropriate clinical oversight), and others depending on clients’ needs.

Marana Health is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC), with 11 sites in Tucson and Pima County.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Services field

• 3 years’ experience working with State AHCCCS Complete Care (ACC) and Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) clients
• Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety

• Current Arizona driver’s license with clean driving record and proof of current vehicle insurance (39-month MVR will be run by MH)

• Experience with community resources and agencies
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• First Aid certification

Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered if applicable and must be directly related to the functions and body of knowledge required to successfully perform the job.

Functions as a lead worker but primarily performs essentially the same work as those directed. Lead duties may include resolving minor issues, overseeing work quality, training, instructing, and scheduling work.

• Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills with emphasis on responsiveness, building trust, mutual respect, and courtesy.
• Ability to cultivate a culture of respect and service excellence through professionalism, effective communication, and demonstrated commitment to integrity, trust, fairness, and respect.
• Ability to provide effective mentorship and support to staff.
• Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft products and able to teach others.
• Thorough knowledge of State and RBHA requirements.
• Thorough knowledge of current versions of Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental

• Ability to complete Behavioral Health Assessments with appropriate clinical oversight.

• Provides individualized behavioral health services to clients and families in a manner most effective based on client needs and diagnoses, including both behavioral health and medical diagnoses.

  • Service Plan with ongoing Service Plan Reviews,
  • Annual Assessment Updates,
  • Primary care coordination as appropriate, not less than annually,

  • Other forms as appropriate or requested.
• Accommodates client schedules when providing direct services.
• Meets productivity requirements while maintaining ethical encountering and billing practices.
• Provides home-based and crisis intervention services as necessary or requested.
• Provides or arranges transportation for clients as necessary.
• Provides all clients with appropriate referrals to community agencies and resources as needed or requested.
