Key Responsibilities
- Perform pharmacist duties including medication review, compounding, verification, and drug therapy management.
- Enhance patient experience through consultations, medication management, and wellness services, addressing patient concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Support centralized patient registration, prescription reviews, and product support virtually or in-person.
- Provide expertise, education, and support to team members; support staff training and promote teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and standards; assist in workflow procedures and pharmacy operational tasks.
- Maintain relationships with healthcare providers, clarify prescriptions, and ensure proper medication management.
- Keep current with pharmacy technology, process insurance claims, and liaise with insurance and medical providers.
- Participate in community outreach, promote pharmacy services, and contribute to continuous improvement and regulatory adherence.
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree; current state license.
- Experience with prescription dispensing, drug laws, and pharmacy operations.
- Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days.
- Ability to work effectively across diverse environments and travel as needed.
- Preferred: 1+ year pharmacy experience, familiarity with pharmacy technology, and specialized training in disease states or clinical services.
