Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while delivering critical support to clients. You will work closely with a team of mental health professionals committed to providing comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct secure, confidential teletherapy sessions with individuals and groups using our integrated telehealth platform, ensuring privacy and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform thorough clinical assessments to identify clients' emotional, social, and mental health needs, followed by the development of personalized treatment plans tailored to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention when necessary, prioritizing client safety and emotional stability.
  • Assist clients in connecting to valuable community resources, social services, and support systems that promote holistic well-being.
  • Maintain meticulous electronic records, including progress notes and treatment plans, following strict legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Engage in regular collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care that addresses all aspects of client well-being.
  • Educate clients on evidence-based coping strategies and self-care techniques that empower them to manage their mental health effectively.
  • Stay updated with the latest research, practices, and guidelines in the field of clinical social work and teletherapy, committing to ongoing professional development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on students and school-age children who are experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychosocial issues. You will work with diverse populations, providing crucial support for challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Your work aims to foster resilience and promote positive mental health outcomes in a school context, equipping young individuals with the tools needed to thrive both academically and socially.

Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
  • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in a clinical or therapeutic setting.
  • Proficiency with telehealth technologies, including familiarity with digital platforms used for remote therapy.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate effective remote interactions with clients.
  • Commitment to ethical, confidential, and professional therapeutic practices.
  • Ability to work independently and navigate the unique challenges of a teletherapy environment.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate clients across various time zones.
