Overview and ResponsibilitiesJob Summary
We are seeking a dedicated License Specialist to join our team. In this position, you are responsible for the tracking and processing of all license applications, including Board of Pharmacy, Department of Health, Business, Occupational, City, State, Bedding, DOT, FDA, etc. including changes of address and any other pertinent change of information to maintain all location licenses in good standing. This position pays between $18.25/hr - $21.50/hr depending on related experience and state hired in.

- Follows up on outstanding issues consistently to ensure timely filing of licenses
- Maintain copies of all licenses in provider services files
- Maintains activity log.
- Maintains database of licenses by facility with anticipated expiration dates
- Proactively complete all licensure applications accurately and timely
- Promptly inform manager of any issues or problems related to licensure status
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)
Education and/or Experience
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the position through relevant work experience, training, or education.

- Two year degree from an accredited college; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in medical field and administrative record management, preferred
One year of related work experience, preferred - Medical terminology, preferred
- Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written
- Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual)
- Maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information
- Multi-task along with attention to detail
- Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills
