As part of our team, you will work remotely while also having the opportunity to connect with clients through our outpatient office in Plano, Texas. Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health and relational dynamics to identify key issues and challenges.
- Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based practices to guide treatment.
- Help clients articulate their thoughts and feelings regarding relational disruptions, working to build greater understanding and strengthen communication.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans that are tailored to the specific needs and goals of each client, ensuring alignment with their values and cultural context.
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to promote effective outcomes.
- Provide expert witness testimony in legal contexts when required, presenting findings and treatment recommendations with clarity and professionalism.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals and community resources to create supportive networks for clients.
- Stay current with professional developments in the field of marriage and family therapy through ongoing education and training.
Our client base includes diverse individuals and families facing a range of issues, from relationship conflicts to grief and loss. The successful candidate will have the aptitude to engage sensitively with clients from different cultural backgrounds and adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the specific needs of each family system.
Qualifications- A master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- A valid and current LMFT license issued by the state of Texas.
- Completion of at least one year of supervised post-graduate clinical hours in accordance with state regulations.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills to identify mental health and relationship challenges.
- Proven ability to implement and evaluate treatment plans effectively.
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability to respond to changing client needs.
- Experience working with a diverse client population in both individual and group settings.
- Familiarity with the latest therapeutic modalities and trends in marriage and family therapy.
- Previous involvement in community or clinical outreach programs to broaden client access to resources.
The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
