As a Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Leading individual and group therapy sessions tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments to identify psychological needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Maintaining a detailed caseload of patients, ensuring accurate progress notes and treatment logs to document sessions and interventions effectively.
• Collaborating with patients and their families in creating and implementing progress-driven therapeutic strategies, fostering a supportive and goal-oriented environment.
• Intervening during crises and providing immediate therapeutic responses to stabilize patients and ensure their safety.
• Delivering educational materials and support programs to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mental health issues and treatment processes.
• Utilizing digital tools and systems for documenting patient data and treatment outcomes, contributing to the continuous improvement of our care practices.

Your role will focus on a varied clientele, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological concerns. You will develop strategies to support diverse populations, recognizing that individuals may face a range of circumstances that affect their mental health. The clinic serves clients from various backgrounds, and your capacity to respond to cultural and situational differences will be key in tailoring effective therapeutic approaches.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating a track record of effective patient management.
• Must hold a valid professional license such as LCPC, LCSW-C, LMFT, LCMFT, or PsyD.
