Description

Heart to Heart Behavioral Services is looking for a bilingual Spanish/English Behavior Technician (BT) to provide ABA services in clients' homes.

This is a part-time, after-school position for someone who is compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working one-on-one with children and families.

The Behavior Technician will implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA and help children develop meaningful communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.

Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.

• Provide direct ABA services in clients' homes.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
• Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based ABA strategies.
• Collect accurate data during each session.
• Communicate client progress and concerns to the supervising BCBA.
• Communicate effectively with Spanish- and English-speaking clients and families.
• Build a positive and professional relationship with the child and family.
• Follow BCBA direction and incorporate clinical feedback.
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries while working in the client's home.
• Maintain client confidentiality and follow company and safety policies.

$22–$27/hour

Requirements

Required:

• Fluent in Spanish and English — verbal communication in both languages is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At lease 1 year experience working in ABA therapy
• Reliable and dependable attendance.
• Comfortable working independently in a home environment.
• Comfortable working with children and families.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and accept feedback.
• Willingness to continue learning ABA principles and techniques.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes.
