As a remote member of our team, you will enjoy the flexibility of working from a location that best suits your needs, while still being part of a collaborative environment with multidisciplinary professionals including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other counseling staff. While your primary responsibilities will be conducted remotely, you will participate in virtual meetings and consultations to ensure cohesive integration within our treatment teams.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough clinical assessments of clients through video or phone sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and solution-focused approaches to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Provide a range of therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other modalities tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in adherence to HIPAA and relevant regulatory standards, ensuring the highest quality of care.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues during regular case consultations to review treatment approaches, share insights, and improve the quality of care delivered to clients.
- Educate and empower clients and their families regarding mental health conditions, guiding them through treatment options and connecting them with community resources.
- Remain abreast of emerging research and developments within the mental health field, integrating knowledge into daily therapy practices.
You will primarily serve a diverse client population, including individuals seeking assistance for anxiety disorders, depression, trauma recovery, and more. Qualifications- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.
- Experience in applying solution-based psychotherapy interventions, adapting your techniques to address individual client needs effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong interpersonal skills that promote trust and openness.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve problems effectively, maintaining a positive and proactive approach to challenging situations.
