Join Autism FIRST as an in-home, part-time Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Chantilly, VA, where you’ll support children and families in your local community while working alongside a collaborative team focused on high-quality care and continuous learning.
In this role, you’ll deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in-home and in community settings while following individualized treatment plans under BCBA guidance and tracking progress through accurate data.
Pay: $24 - $29 / hour
Schedule Availability Requirement
:
Part-Time, Monday - Friday between 5pm - 7pm (schedule varies within this window based on client needs) and occasional weekends as needed
Required Training Availability
:
All new hires must be available for two weeks of onboarding training, which includes:
- Virtual sessions from 9am to 1pm
- In-person shadowing from1pm to 4pm or 4pm to 7pm

Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in-home and approved community settings
- Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs under BCBA supervision
- Follow individualized treatment plans
- Collect and recordaccuratesession data
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and families
- Attend scheduled supervision, training, and staff meetings
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum1 year of ABA experiencepreferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel locally between clinic and in-home sessions
- CPR certification required - reimbursement available after first 90 days of employment!
- TB testrequired
- Proof of auto insurance required
- Ability tolift up to 40 pounds and respond quickly for client safety
- Ability to pass background screening
- Active RBT certification, strongly preferred
- Enrollment in BCBA orBCaBAcoursework is a plus
