Job Description & How to Apply Below
As part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team spanning outpatient therapy, early childhood consultation, and family peer support, you will support families across the full continuum of care, from prevention and education to intervention and treatment. This position combines grant-funded consultation work through Nurturing Connections Colorado with outpatient billable services, offering a dynamic opportunity to partner with early care and education providers, caregivers, and community organizations.
The ideal candidate is a relationship-focused self-starter with experience in infant and early childhood mental health, a passion for supporting young children and families, and training in evidence-based practices such as Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Experience working within early childhood education settings is highly valued.
Schedule:
This position follows a Monday–Friday, 8am to 5pm schedule and is eligible for a hybrid work model that includes a mix of in-office, community-based, and remote work. Staff are expected to be in the office and/or in the community (client homes and/or early childhood education centers) three days per week—typically to conduct in-person sessions with young children and their families—and may work remotely the remaining two days for tasks such as documentation, collateral sessions, and planning.
Mondays are designated in-office days for all ECFC staff to attend team meetings. Flexibility in the schedule to work some evening hours may be required based on training, client needs, and community obligations. This schedule is subject to change based on client, community, and program needs.a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb;}tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #;}tr th { background-color: #;}Term-Limited
Position:
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, grant-funded position with a current term through June 30, 2031, based on the latest award period of the Colorado Department of Early Childhood's Nurturing Connections Colorado Grant. While this position is technically term-limited and contingent upon continued grant funding, the Nurturing Connections Colorado program has been continuously funded for many years, and Aurora Mental Health & Recovery has successfully maintained and renewed this grant over time.
There is a strong history of ongoing support for this program, and the position may be extended beyond the current term should additional funding be awarded. As with all grant-funded roles, continuation of employment is dependent upon the availability of grant funding.
Salary for this role.
Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full-time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Fewer than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE. Salary is also based on years of experience or licensure and company equity.
