This Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker role is a hybrid position based in the Palatine, IL with a combination of in-office and work-from-home flexibility. The clinician will provide individual and, when appropriate, group psychotherapy to adults, including first responders, veterans, athletes, and others experiencing trauma-related, mood, and relationship challenges. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, and collaborating with other providers or community resources as needed.

The role involves using evidence-based interventions, monitoring client progress, and adjusting care plans to support long-term resilience and recovery. The clinician will also participate in periodic team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to ensure high-quality, client-centered care.

• Current, unrestricted Illinois license as an LCPC or LCSW
• Demonstrated experience providing psychotherapy for trauma, anxiety, depression, and complex relationship issues using evidence-based approaches.
• Ability to conduct thorough clinical assessments, create collaborative treatment plans, and maintain clear, compliant documentation.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and boundary-setting skills, with a commitment to culturally responsive, nonjudgmental care.

• Capacity to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing in-person sessions in the Greater Chicago Area and telehealth visits from a private, secure space.
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn specialized trauma-focused modalities (e.g., EMDR, TF-CBT, CPT) and performance-focused interventions is preferred.
• Dedication to ongoing professional development, ethical practice, and supporting clients in making concrete, sustainable changes.
