National Director, US Field Medical Cardiomyopathy

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead US Field Medical Cardiomyopathy team (RADs/RDs/field MSLs) supporting Mavacamten and all phases of clinical trials and launch.
• Drive scientific exchange with Thought Leaders/HCPs/access stakeholders to answer scientific, unsolicited product and HEOR questions within assigned geography.
• Evaluate MSLs’ scientific communication and compliance with local procedures, ethical/legal guidelines.
• Assess medical landscape; update knowledge on treatment strategies, products, unmet needs, trials, and competitive landscape.
• Ensure MSLs collect and deliver actionable medical insights to medical/commercial organizations.
• Provide direction/execution of Field Medical plan aligned with US Medical Strategy.
• Support CRO/BMS-sponsored interventional and non-interventional research; oversee site identification, recruitment/referrals, investigator interactions, and study feasibility recommendations.
• Ensure Pharmacovigilance document understanding/application and escalation of identified adverse events.
• Support investigator-sponsored research (ISR) via primary liaison support.
• Develop/oversee national Field Medical plan; participate in cross-functional Medical Matrix Teams.
• Provide medical/scientific training and key product updates to internal stakeholders.
• Manage/coach RADs/RDs and ensure MSL activities align to Medical Plan; ensure compliance with laws, FDA regulations, and BMS policies.

• MD/PharmD/PhD (or science graduate with relevant pharma experience); MBA a plus.
• 8+ years clinical/pharma experience, including 6+ years Field Medical (FM) leadership/people management/medical planning.

• Lead national field medical initiatives; account management; cross-functional and matrix leadership; thrive in ambiguity.
• Coaching/mentoring; autonomous execution; in-depth cardiovascular knowledge/publications.
• ASMart goal-setting; customer/patient needs understanding; pharmacoeconomic data principles; US healthcare/pharma industry knowledge; market access/patient advocacy trends; knowledge of key institutions.
• Clinical trial design and compliance standards; strong communication/presentation; served as Product Point/JV Point/Launch Point.

Time in field with team and external customers; additional time with Home Office stakeholders.

• Field - United States: US $200,180–$242,575; may be eligible for additional discretionary incentive cash and stock.
