Sollars and Associates – Integrative Counseling and Psychological Services is a collaborative group of psychologists and licensed psychotherapists dedicated to supporting personal growth and meaningful change. Under the clinical direction of Franklin Sollars, PhD, LP, the practice provides confidential, compassionate treatment for clients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. With more than 100 therapists across multiple locations, the organization offers individual, couple, family, and group therapy tailored to diverse needs.

Clinicians are experienced in addressing concerns such as attention difficulties, school challenges, interpersonal and relationship issues, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, grief, and a wide range of life, work, and educational stressors. The team emphasizes insight, understanding, and collaboration to foster healing, behavior change, and new perspectives.

The Psychometrist will administer, score, and document psychological tests under the supervision of licensed psychologists, supporting diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing testing materials, conducting standardized assessments with clients of various ages, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with ethical and professional guidelines. The Psychometrist will interpret test data for preliminary reporting, collaborate with clinicians to coordinate assessment schedules, and assist with test-related documentation and data entry.

This is a contract role with a hybrid work arrangement based in the Grand Rapids Area, with some work-from-home tasks such as scoring, report preparation, and documentation completed remotely. The position requires consistent communication with supervising clinicians, adherence to testing protocols, and professionalism in client interactions.

• Candidates should possess strong foundations in Psychology and Psychomotricity to understand behavioral, cognitive, and functional aspects of assessment.
• Candidates should possess skills in Psychological Testing
  , including administration, scoring, and familiarity with commonly used standardized instruments.
• Candidates should possess excellent Interpersonal Skills for working with diverse clients, collaborating with therapists, and communicating clearly and professionally.
• Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in psychology or a related field; prior experience as a psychometrist or in psychological assessment is preferred.
• Additional beneficial skills include strong attention to detail, reliability in following standardized protocols, basic data entry and documentation skills, and adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families, and familiarity with clinical or counseling settings in mental health, are advantageous.
