Victory Family Counseling (VFC) is a multicultural, inclusive mental health practice based in downtown Concord, North Carolina, serving individuals, couples, and families. The practice offers trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy rooted in compassion, cultural humility, and accessibility. As a Latine immigrant-owned organization, VFC focuses on empowering underserved communities, including BIPOC, Latine, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those facing systemic barriers. Services are provided in multiple languages, both in person and via telehealth, and span individual, family, and couples therapy, comprehensive assessments, school-based services, affordable intern-led programs, and community outreach.
VFC also invests in developing emerging clinicians through a robust internship program, mentorship, supervision, and training.
The Bilingual Psychotherapist will provide individual, couples, and family therapy using trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches for a diverse client population. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and collaborating with other clinicians to ensure coordinated care. The role involves delivering services in at least two languages (e.g., English and Spanish), both in person at the Concord, NC office and via telehealth.
The psychotherapist will also support school-based services or community outreach as needed and participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and professional development. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Concord, NC, with some work-from-home flexibility.
- Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related mental health field; active or eligible clinical licensure (e.g., LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LP) in North Carolina.
- Fluency in English and at least one additional language (strong preference for Spanish), with the ability to provide clinical services and documentation in both languages.
- Demonstrated experience providing trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, and families from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Competence in working with BIPOC, Latine, LGBTQIA+ communities and individuals navigating systemic barriers, with a commitment to cultural humility and affirming care.
- Strong skills in clinical assessment, case formulation, treatment planning, and risk assessment, including crisis intervention when necessary.
- Ability to maintain thorough, timely, and compliant clinical documentation and to navigate electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, including the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and engage in supervision and feedback.
- Organizational and time-management skills to manage a full caseload, balance in-person, telehealth, and potentially school-based services, and meet administrative requirements.
